I am delighted to be returning to the Harewood Estate in the heart of Yorkshire for 2026. The retreats will be taking place over three nights and are designed to be a retreat in the real sense of the world – a chance to get away from the outside world, slow down and unwind.

My guest for September is the wonderful Lorena Uriarte all the way from Sydney, Australia! Lorena is an exemplary teacher and will be joining me in providing mindful workshops over the weekend.

Accommodation will be in cottages set within a terraced complex. These Grade II Listed buildings ooze character and have been stylishly, luxuriously and very comfortably renovated.

Harewood Sewing Retreats have an emphasis on mindful slow stitching and exploring your creativity. The demos and guided tutorials will have a relaxed, intimate feel and encompass a range of hand stitching and embroidery techniques. Bring along your latest projects to work on, start something new or learn skills with Karen and Sarah with an project designed especially for the retreat. We will be announcing our new 2026 project in December to give you plenty of time to get any necessary supplies ready.

Includes full board and lodging for a fun and friendly secluded chill out (but does not include the optional lunch at the estate café on the day of arrival).

The retreat starts on Tuesday afternoon on 22nd September to the morning of Friday 25th September 2026.

IMPORTANT: The product price is for the 50% deposit not the whole amount.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

You are booking a ticket for the September 2026 Retreat; to be held from the afternoon of Tuesday 22nd September to the morning of Friday 25th September 2026 at Harewood, Leeds, LS17 9LF, UK.

Your ticket entitles you to attend the retreat and includes full board and lodging, events, goodie bag and free pass to Harewood House (but does not include the optional lunch at the estate café on the day of arrival).

Transport is not included – you will have to make your own way to the venue.

The balance is due 8 weeks before event. The deposit and balance are non-refundable. If you subsequently find you cannot attend for whatever reason we are happy to try to resell your place or to facilitate a name transfer if you are able to resell your place. This will incur a £30 admin fee.

We reserve the right to charge a £30 late payment fee if the balance is paid more than two weeks late. You will receive an email reminder of when the final balance is due. If the balance remains unpaid, your deposit and place on the retreat will be forfeited. If the event is cancelled for any reason you will receive a full refund.

You will receive email confirmation of your order and your place will be guaranteed subject to payment of the balance. PLEASE CHECK YOUR JUNK FOLDER if a confirmation is not received.
